I wasn't sure where we left off last time, since I've missed a couple of meetings, so I moved back to step 7. This is a nice break, because the Steps divide nicely into four primary ideas:

1. "We are powerless over the problem of alcoholism." Steps 1-3

2. "We can turn our lives over to a power greater than ourselves." Steps 4-6

3. "We need to change both ouir attitudes and our actions." Steps 7-9

4. "We keep Al-Anon's gifts by sharing them with others." Steps 10-12
