From time to time I've heard others speak of a fairly reliable method for distinguishing between self-will and God’s will. The complicated and demanding plans for my day are the plans driven by self-will. The simple plans- the ones that sketch a few important activities and leave time for flexibility, frailty, and also some fun- are the plans that reflect God’s will.
I still may have great difficulty recognizing needless complexity, and I may have equal difficulty accepting the uncertainty of solutions that only give me my very next step. I can have confidence, however, that when I can Keep It Simple I’m walking with the guidance of my Higher Power.

How do Al-Anon principles help me to simplify my day?

Using mIRC or other chat client, the server we are on is irc.chat4all.org, port 6667. which users will need to add to their IRC server list, and our room name (#alanonchat) to their IRC channels.
