I'm confused... I see this post, but I don't see the minutes? Is it just me? Was it erased?
I have a question & not sure who to ask since I am unable to make it to business meetings... Am I required to be OPed to be considered a regular chair? If not, we can leave things just the way they are. I'm only asking because I have gotten conflicting information, although it may have been my own misinterpretation. (I am easily confused on such matters.) I am unable to use mIRC. Is there a way to run scripts if I don't have mIRC? (See next paragraph)
For those who do not have mIRC... I also have copy & paste scripts pretty darn close to verbatim that I 've separated into paragraphs just long enough to paste into mibbit without the ends of sentences getting cut off. If anyone would like a copy of that just let me know. I actually copied them right from someone else's scripts as they were being pasted into the room.
you are not required to be Op'd in order to chair a meeting, you are required to be chairing a meeting to be given OP status.
As for the Business Meeting Minutes, we are no longer going to post them on this public board. Our group secretary, (aka Walker) will take the minutes and put them in a formal minutes keeping sheet and send a copy to the Group Business meeting chairperson. So if you want a copy of them, you will have to request them from the secretary, and allow a reasonable time frame for them to emailed to you.
